i recieved my header today, wheres good place to find a gasket for pretty cheap. and also, should i invest in a carsound cat or get a adapter flange (or whatever its called). im putting it on a GSR body.. if i get the carsound cat would i still need to invest in a adapter. now i just have a stock cat hollowed out, so i would need to do some cutting to my exhaust pipes to make the header and cat fit together right??

Hey, glad you got it quickly. I bought my gasket from inline4 (35 bucks), any honda or acura parts department should have one for ya. Do a search for part numbers on here.

is the carsound cat shorter than a stock GSR cat.. i saw a pic of a carsound cat and unless the pic was squished it looked fat and short

 

the stock cat is longer, i believe...

 

Depends what year GSR you have.

00-01 GSR = 97-01 ITR

 

the body is a 95 GSR... im debating whether or not to stay with my stock cat and modify my exhaust system.. or get a carsound cat which hopefully doesnt need modifying. and my stock cat is hollowed out.

 

I would just get a bolt on carsound cat. Test pipes on the street.
