so, i have a v6 2000 accord and it makes a funny whiney/whisting noise. the best i can describe the noise is like that of a failing power steering pump from a Ford, lol. so, if you've ever heard that noise, then you'll know what kind of noise it is that i'm talking about.

Well my car is coming up on 155k miles. The tranny was rebuilt around 130k miles. in terms of performance, i don't feel that the tranny is slipping between gears, it still pulls just fine even when i floor it and everything.

i took it to my mechanic that rebuilt the tranny for me and he said it was some small part that needed to be replaced. i know it's a bit of an ambiguous explanation as to what's going on, but is there anything you guys can do to help me out on this one? or give me some kind of idea as to what's going on?
