Default So I smell gas...

I have a 96 Honda Accord EX and every time I get into my car and drive, it smells like gas...

I really don't know what it is, there's no spots or drips on my driveway so its not leaking fast or maybe leaking at all but I know there has to be a problem, you just don't drive around and smell gas heavily when you accelerate.

I'm still a noob when it comes to car so I need anybody to suggest what my problem is.

Hopefully I can do it myself instead of going to a mechanic that can make the problem seem worse than it is so they can have a reason to fix something and charge heavy.

Any suggestions?

Possibly an exhaust leak. If it's around the header/cat area.

I'd check up under the car and see if you see any rusted up spots.

You may have an issue with leaking Fuel Injector O'Ring seals, or an injector's body could be leaking as well. There are four (4) injectors mounted just to the rear of the valve cover and fed fuel thru a common fuel rail. They can leak either at the intake manifold or at the fuel rail, you will have to inspect both ends.
It doesn't take much of a leak to produce an odor. You certainly shouldn't find a puddle

also check the seal for your fuel pump assembly under the rear seat. the rear seat bottom is easy enough to pull out.
