Is the car still available? Any grinds in the trans? Any known issues the car is having? Where are you located and when would you be able to show the car?
Thanks
Thanks
Yes the EVO is still available. Lots of offers but no money has been exchanged yet.
The car only has 29K on it and most of the those miles are highway...it's bone clean with zero issues.

I've never personally even tracked the car...she's a bit of a garage queen. But plenty of EVO's with similar mods (even less) have run in high 11's. And yes, if you dial up the boost and run a test pipe 11's is a lot more attainable.
Add race gas and/or methanol...and forget it!...11's easy!
Here's a timeslip of an EVO with weaker mods than my EVO making it easily into the 11's:

I have a much more aggressive (better flowing) camshaft setup that lives and breathes at higher RPM's...Most EVO's starve for air at higher RPM's and that's were good trap speeds are lost...

yea i had an evo 8 im familiar with what theyre capable of....Most guys i knew upgraded turbo's to run 11's
I wasnt trying to call you out i was just curious....car looks nice

And it also comes to the risk. I know guys running 26-28psi on their stock turbos on unbuilt motors. Their cars are stupid fast but highly unsafe.
However like I said above, METH is really changing the game in the EVO community now. Lots of stock turbo'd EVO's are 400whp + just by adding a little METH to the equation.
No, it's cool! No worries...and thanks for the comment.
Curious as to why you changed the oil so frequently?
Is it a turbo thing?
Most new cars are supposed to only have the oil changed every 5,000 or 10,000 miles, but I assume because of the Evo being turbo it is different.
Either way, sick car, good luck!

For $50 you can save yourself a lot of expensive repairs...
