I have a 96 accord auto non vtec with a bad motor and i also have a f22b2 vtec engine out of a 94-95. i have the obd1 vtec ecu, and a jumper harness.
i have done a few swaps already my main question is with the ecu. ive never converted a odb2 auto to obd1. im sure that i am capable of performing this swap but i lust need to kno if there are any special wiring tricks involved.
any help would be great thanks.

The f22b2 is non vtec. So if you run the vtec ecu it will run like *** and throw a code for vtec (because you won't have vtec).
Conversion, "Boomslang" and a few others sell OBDI-2 > OBD - 1 conversion harness.

my bad the motor i have for it is a 94-95 f22 vtec engine and obd1 ecu
the car i have is a 96 accord f22 non vtec with auto tranny.

i was able to swap a jdm f22b sohc vtec (OBD-??) into my 92 accord ex (OBD-I). not sure what OBD the motor was, but my stock harness works great with no CEL.
My 1995 does not have a cam sensor and is OBD1 therefore Would need a vtec pressure switch and vtec solenoid. Two wires.
Would reuse the F22 intake manifold. As for OBD1, it was mentioned getting a p28 from a civic and having it programmed with the base map of a F23.
The reusing of the intake manifold may only be required for a JDM swap? Something I'm considering. Some have said an adapter plate is also needed to fit the Intake Manifold?
All of this needs to be verified by someone experienced with these type of swaps on this forum.
