Has anyone used obx topmount?
So i'm wondering, for all those who have used the obx topmount, how are they>? any problems, performance? how did it work out for some people. or what have u heard of them if u haven't used it. i was thinking about getting one , because its pretty good in price, topmount, and it has v-wastegate flange.
hmmm boostedcivicsir. what do u suggest in turbo manifolds? i preferrably want to stay away from log/cast trying to look for topmount or tubular/ramhorn. full-race is nice, but out of my budget. anything as good as that but about half the price range?
but still anyone used obx topmount? how is it

^^^^those companys are the same price as full-race practically. Is it the welds that arent great on the manifolds? the design and runner length look good.

anything quality with a warranty is going to cost. bottom line. you cannot argue with full races quality. you definately get what you pay for. i have a ful race equal bottom, and will be getting the t4 divided top when i step up.
if u cant afford to pay dont play
obx is junk, poor quality metal, breaks in all kinds of places
if all the other manifolds are out of price range, go to a log manifold cheaper and get the job done
remember if cant afford to do it right the first time, what makes u think u can afford to do it wrong twice

The obx top mount manifolds are thin and cheaply made. There is a guy on here that bought one and his wg neck broke off after a very short time.
A decent top mount manifold is expensive and if you can't afford it save your self the trouble and get something decent that fits your budget.
Inline pro cast manifolds create excellent power and are pretty reasonable. I'm owned a spa cast topmount in the past and it was real reasonable at around $400. If your stuck on a tubular, get a ram horn from the marketplace section. They can be easily had in the $500 range. Its important to allocate a decent amount of money for a quality manifold.

check out the spoolin manifolds
still a lot more affordable price
how much power are you making that you are dead set on a top mount?

The XS power ram horns are the ones that crack like crazy, i have seen a few obx ramhorns run on 300+whp setups with no problems, a friend of mine has the OBX top mount, its construction is nice but the main problem (some of you may see this comming) the colletor uses VERY thin metal were the WG mounts and it has already cracked there.
A buddy of mine has a P FAB or VP Fab tig welded log manifold for t3 turbo thats ac and ps compatible. Its nice quality and was around $350-400 or so new, he might sell it if your interested.
