Default Various B-pipe questions...

How much more performance out of a b-pipe can you get from TypeOne, Thermal... etc, vs. a custom 2.5" b pipe made at a muffler shop?

I'm thinking of getting the Spoon N1 muffler but I don't know what to do about my b-pipe, let me know, thanks.

BTW---how loud is the Spoon N1 at idle, street, heavy-foot.

If you want constant attention from everyone (police, ricers, etc), go with the Spoon N1 muffler.

If you want any semblance of stealth, the Spoon N1 is not for you.

its more like, how much more power can you get from a custom than a spoon, type1, thermal, etc. b-pipe. you can get a stainless steel b-pipe and have it custom made to fit and have better performance than other brands, but it'd be loud and possibly ricey sounding cuz of the lack of a mid pipe resonator. Or you can add on a magnaflow mufferl for a resonator and have basically the same performance or better. (2.5" custom vs. 2.38" spoon, type1, etc. )

Hrm, then when the time comes I'll grab a TypeOne b-pipe... you're right about the mid-pipe resonator.

I just threw on my JDM 4-1... so I'm happy with a little bit of power for now, next mod = a JAP ITR SRS Steering Wheel
