Default Legit check on a J's Intake *Pics*

Hey guys, guy on a local forum is selling a J's Intake for an ITR. From the pic I can tell the filter element isnt stock but the sticker seems off. I mean i've never seen this style of sticker before. Can you guys let me know if its legit or not? Thanks

^ Yeah I know the filter itself isnt real. Im just wondering if J's ever made an intake like this with this style sticker. Perhaps like Gen 1 or something?

That may be real.

If you're curious, hold it up to the light and look at the weave. The J's is so thin that you can sorta see through the carbon. also, the weave will be 1x1 weave (very tight) and the there should be a hole for the valve cover breather, not a stem.

If i recall, the J's doesn't come with the sticker attached...you have to attach it yourself.

that does look legit. i have a password jdm one, and it is NOT as good as j's racing. Pwjdm's weave is not as clean, theres sum spaces where its just resin, but it is light for what it is.

Pick it up if its cheap, cuz im guessing u wanna get a new filter for it.

Its legit, has a fake sticker and K/N filter or whatever brand filter they could find to fit the mammoth opening.

1x1 weave which no other company made but memory fab.

It also has the right style nipple, and the right connector on the throttle body. Others use one that looks like a slinky.

Its legit minus stickers and OG filter.

From a composites builder, they look awesome, from an all motor fan, they lose power compared to a good cold air setup.

Ill stick with an aluminum pipe and velocity stack even though I do like J's racing.
