Default Taking my R to new owner..

Yep, I had my car for sale for one day and had a buyer. It was ITR #119 w/57K miles, sold it for $18.5K. I wasnt expecting very much response, but I have been swamped with people wanting to buy it. Just thought I would throw that out since there was a thread a month or so ago debating the value of our R's. So if any of you guys are thinking of selling, I would say the market is very good. Anyway i have been bummed out all day and never thought i would see this day. But the negatives of owning this car have made me decide otherwise. I wish I could keep the R and get something new but im building a house. I will still come by honda-tech and i will tell the new owner to join. Im still debating on what car to get next, I will post pics of my new car when i get it. Good luck to everyone!!

I'm in the same boat... but with a '98 R with 17k miles on it. A lot of interest in the car in a mere 2 days that it's been posted for sale... just a matter of time until someone comes through with the deposit on it.

Cool.

One of these days I'll take some nice pics of my R and put her back up for sale. I'm sure if I lower the price a little ($500-$1k) I will sell it rather quickly.

How much are you thinking of asking. Since you have no airbags and A/C, this could be a great track only car...... I may be interested if it's at the right price and I sell my civic in time...

Thanks,

I never thought I would see this day too. I'm in the same boat as you dcteck, building a house and selling the R just like you. Tonight 01 PYR #827 is going to Texas. It's a sad sad day

I sold it on Autotrader.com, and the negatives im speaking of are not being able to park it in areas in which i have to drive, DC etc. The only other negative would be the ricers
