anyone ever tried this setup?
so im planing to get springs for my 95 ls. right now i have koni yellows and i was thinking of getting tein s tech or HR sport springs. how would the ride be if i set them on the lowest perch on the konis. would it still be as bad as a 2.5-3in drop?

You should not use the lower perch settings with lowering springs. They won't be stiff enough to keep the suspension from bottoming out. H&R Sport springs are already bad enough as it is. I thought they were much too soft for the amount they dropped the car, even with the Koni perch on the upper (stock) setting on my front shocks.
I agree with Patrick, you'll be bottoming out on a regular basis with that setup.
Since you already have the yellows, I would get the Ground Control sleeves that are Koni specific.

<--- Doesn't bottom out on that exact setup. Although I use the ITR rate H&R sports on a civic. Not overly low at all, excuse the angles.

OP was asking about using lowering springs w/ the Koni perches on the lowest setting. You're definitely not on the lowest perch setting in those pics, because my car looks lower than that on STOCK springs on the lowest perch setting.

Sir I am low as it goes.......
OTS Koni yellows
29502 H&R Sport Springs
I thought I had pictures to prove it, but its in storage now and you will have to take my word for it. Maybe the angles throw you off but there is little to no fender gap.

Well, here is my car with H&R Sports with the front perch on the top (stock) perch and the rear on the bottom perch (5/8" lower than stock):

If I had put the front perches on the lower setting (1" down), the front of the car would have been another 1.5" lower than what you see in that pic, i.e. tucking tire and probably not drivable.
This is what my car looks like now with stock springs and the perches on the lower setting:
