dx to si guage cluster
Keep in mind that wiring incompatibilities exist between model years. What year/model is your car, and what year/model have you pulled a gauge cluster from?
All '90-91 clusters are interchangeable and will plug-and-play, but '88-89 clusters have a number of differences.

With exception of the CRX HF, all USDM '88-91 Civic/CRX tachometers are the same: 6500 RPM redline, 8000 RPM maximum reading. The HF has a 5000 RPM redline but the same 8000 RPM maximum.
It won't plug and play.
You'll have to change the cluster hood, the rheostat, hazard and defroster switches to make it physically fit, and you'll have to re-wire the plugs to make it function. I believe you also need to cut the actual plugs from the donor's harness.
