I got a bad dizzy for 97 type r.. and i need to knw the what type of dizzy i cud use.. i have heard any b series would work... but when i looked at pictures the si one has different teeth frm the gsr... i was told to use one of these but ow the dillema is which one works for my type r???

I have an obd1 ls brand new i would sell or trade to you. Only diff is the two plug vs one plug. To answer your question I was under the impression they were all the same as well.

 

so to say basically ur ls one wud work on my type r

 

Check on ebay, there are pretty of them for sale.

 

So I did some searching and I guess you have to modify the LS to fit. Said the arms wouldn't clear the solinoid so you'd have to cut one off. Either that or I was thinking just take it apart and put the LS internals into your R's distributor housing.

 

i did an internal swap on mine works great
