ok i put a jdmd15b motor in my ek with a 1999 ex harness well that car is a 99 ex and i had to use single cam non vtec injectors i finally got a p2p to run the car and now it runs like **** would that cuase it to run bad?

 

umm...did you use a 96+ oil pump so you have the crank fluctualtion sensor? if not its prolly in limp mode and therefore running like ****.

 

no i did the cfk bypass from another forum ran great with the non vtec auto ecu

 

are you using the d16y7 injectors? because they are smaller than regular run of the mill D series injectors. They are 190cc instead of the y8's 240cc, even a d15b7 has 240cc, but if you used obd2 non vtec d16y7 injectors, ditch them for some bigger ones(240cc).

that would be the y7...why couldnt you use the d15b ones? if the plugs were the only problem just get some obd1 plugs from the junk yard and wire em in. bring a small flat head and some wire cutters. dont lose the metal clips.
