88 (mite be 89) teg RS motor
i have a 93 vx and i was looking through a junk yark looking for **** for my vx and i came across 88 integra rs that had been on a MINOR accident. its dohc but i cant get to the motor ID becuz the radiator is blocking it due to the accident...the motor looks real clean...they said it just came in about 2 weeks ago and i believe it cuz im always there...what kinda motor is this? im thinking of doing a swap
whats the minimum hp that a dohc (even tho it could be d series) motor produce? 100? i gotta 92 hp civic vx sohc so anything is better. i never knew d series came in dohc's.
The D16A2 (the only twincam D series) in the '88-'89 models produced 118 BHP. Still a big bump over a VX.
I think HASport produces an engine mount kit.
I say, if it's cheap - buy it, build it, drop it in.

heh...well, now that I think about it...D-series mounts are probably all the same. I don't know offhand. Something to look into...
O, and thanks, but I can't really take too much credit. http://www.team-integra.net/ has a complete model history on their site.
