VAG Com equivalent for Hondas??
Obviously this is my first time in this forum - or any car forum...never really cared too much about cars to join a forum - so I'll try to keep this as simple as possible.
A friend of mine has a 20th edition GTI and is pretty adamant about it. He also has the VAG Com program to get into it, and it's seems incredibly interesting. However, he's a Vdub guy, so he doesn't know if there is something like it for Hondas...which is why I'm here.
Does anyone know of a VAG Com equivalent for Hondas? If so, can you please link to it. I've heard of the HDS, but that's the thing...I've only heard of it. Any help would be awesome.

there isnt anything like that for a honda. im in the vw game too and vagcom is amazing stuff. a plain obdII reader will get you alot of readouts but thats it.
A HDS can peform more than just get codes. It can do function tests, live data, program ecm/pcm, actuate individual components for tests, program functions. Quite the tool.
