Default Would I benefit from getting koni race...

I've been autocrossing for 2 years with my current set-up (koni sport + GC) My spring rates are 340f/ 430r... The car act pretty much ok with the alignement I give it.

Now here's my question... I'm wondering if I would benefit from switching to the race one if I don't change the current springrate... What should I expect ? Will it make the car handle even more better or it won't really change nothing until I raise the spring rate since the koni sport can alwready handle easily my rates right now.

Also, the car is a track/street car... Will it deteriorate the ride even more...

Your springrate doesnt really nesesitate the need for Race's but the shortnened shocks will give you more shock travel which is good. As well as the valving in the Race's is alot better than the OTS Yellows.

You need to ask yourself: What do you think the 8041-RACE will do for you that the 8041-Sports are lacking at this point?

Once you're at a certain point, just bolting shocks on isn't necessarily going to make the car faster. It can, but you're going to need to do some testing and tuning to figure out what exactly is going on under there and how exactly you should set it up.

Shortening a shock reduces travel. There is less distance from maximum extension to maximum compression. While it serves a purpose, this is not always good; in some cases it can be detrimental.

I wouldn't use the word "better" without qualifying it. Better for what? In what ways?
