You don't need any other special tools. Just use a flat-blade screwdriver to get the snap ring out of the groove to move that, if that's what you're referring to.

Sorry, I am not being clear. The collar to change the ride height is what I am talking about. It just turns on the threads, no snap rings. The collar has some dimples in it that look like it should receive some kind of wrench.

If the car is jacked up, you shouldn't need a wrench to turn the spring perch - if these are Koni full coilovers we're talking about.

You always have to jack up the car to turn the spring perch, on any adjustable coilover. Your front springs probably have nearly 1000 lbs. of load on them while on the ground, which makes it pretty much impossible to adjust the height when the springs are loaded.
Corner weighting is a long and tedious trial-and-error process. You have to jack the car up, make small adjustments, then set it back down on the scales and see what has changed. Wash, rinse, and repeat until you get it set up to your liking.

Buy the "Spanner wrench for threaded suspension kits and coilovers" at the bottom of the page.
A spanner wrench looks like this:

As PatrickGSR94 mentioned, you have to jack the car up to adjust the perches. Nobody ever said corner-weighting was easy, but with some calculations you can at least get yourself in the ballpark without having to adjust it a zillion times.

Not to Hijack the thread but what is corner weighting?
never mind, but for a DD car do you do it?
I just make my adjustment by hand when the car is jacked up and I count how many threads I turning it.
