Hey is there any company out there that makes a 3" catback exhaust for a 88-91 Civic hatchback other than thermal. I like the kteller kits but u need to have them welded. Is there any other 3" kits out there that are resonably priced. Ive looked for them and cant find any. thanks
Not many do, because that chassis is tight. I welded my own up for a fraction of the cost, and still allowed me to use a 22mm sway. The problem was ground clearance, as well as lca clearance. 'Tucking' the tires ment scraping everything, and I had 1/2" of clearance all around the pipe at the spot above the R-R LCA. It certainly helped with power, spool, and sound.
The k-teller kit is probably your best option. A shop with a lift will charge your $50-100/hour for welding services, but won't take long. You can also have an exhaust shop expand the ends of the kteller pipes so you can clamp them on to each other, and just get a flange welded on.
