Bullseye Power to be presenting sponsor for ORSCA 2009!
Bullseye Power will be a Presenting sponsor for ORSCA during the 2009 race season. We look forward to being involved with the ORSCA organization and the racers within ORSCA. Johnny Fen and Mike Hill are awesome people and we look forward to a great year with lots of exciting side by side racing.
Bullseye Power has partnered with ORSCA for several reasons and one of them is so we can continue our research and development of large frame V8 racing turbochargers. We are working on manufacturing many new combos for the V8 market that will be out in the 09 race season. Another reason is to be able to provide a place to race for the sport compact cars to race. We have opened up the Outlaw 10.5 class for the MOD and pro FWD cars so far.
We would like to say a big thanks Johnny Fen and Mike Hill.

Wow! Cool. This should prove awesome for the SC racers in the south being able to have a series to race in semi locally. Let's just hope enough of them get off their asses and come out

When I started talking to the guy's over at ORSCA after NOPI went under one of my first questions was how can we integrate the sport compact guy's into ORSCA. They were very open to the idea of bring over the classes that could be filled with racers.
Over the past few years I have met allot of you guy's at the races and have became good friends with most of you, so I had to do something to help keep the sport moving forward. I have been reading all the posts over the last year about what to do to replace the racing bodies that have left us high and dry.
This is what i feel is the best option. The only negative is that ORSCA does not run a national series for the 2009 race season. I hope to see that change in the future once the economy gets better.

This is deff a great business move on your part Dan, congrats. This can be a very good thing for all involved.
The sfwd class you are trying to do within the ORSCA, will it be an outlaw type rule book or more like the NHRA sfwd?

Once I have a firm list of racers that plan on racing with us in the outlaw SFWD style class. I will involve those people in the formation of the rules and making of the class name. Safety will be left up to the ORSCA officials though.
You have any info on the rules for the Outlaw 10.5 class for the MOD and pro FWD cars I know of a few racers here in Florida that would be interested to run that class.
A SC class would be cool, but there isnt anything holding back anyone right now to race their series as it is now. Tracy, I am sure they have an index class for your car to fit in. You should have that thing dialed in with all that "practice" time you have been given due to no classes for you.
You (anyone) wait until they have a class for your specific car then how do they know the interest is really there? If its pretty close to you and you want to race, there shouldnt be anything stopping you.

There is no min weight and no turbo size limit right now. Have your friends get intouch with me and I will take a look at their set ups. We would love to have them involved. Pretty much the old MOD class and the PFWD classes will fit right in to Outlaw 10.5.
Please whoever is interested in participating let Matt know what class you wish to be added to.
