Save 10 grand first. Then read the FAQ.

if you look around local and are up to the task of putting the motor in yourself you can do it way under 10 grand...

cost of motor + call it 800 for mounts and axles...then modify your harness

True, the abundance of the motor is making them cheaper day by day, but either way, it's an incredibly involved swap, that's flat out, not cheap. The power potential IME is worth the price, but the OP's concern was money.

oh, well the hard work is done. You need the shifter cables and assembly, I suggest the Karcepts kit, you need to convert to OBD1, then you need k-pro, convert your fuel system to a returnless system, convert your clutch system to hydraulic, and custom mounts and axles.

jesus christ man, use the search function. You're not the first person to put a k into an ED.... it's been covered extensively.

Because its worthless and has been covered many times before. It's not wasting your time, its preventing all the people who were nice enough to post info for your lazy *** from wasting their time.

https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/crx-k-swap-walkthrough-1853644/

Go and read child.

And no, its not an EF.
