Default Modifying KYB AGX's to fit GC Sleeves?

I'm currently riding on KYB AGX's with H&R Sport springs but I'm switching out the springs for GC coilover sleeves in early spring. From what I've heard the GC's don't sit exactly flush on the mounting perch of the AGX's and you have to do some grinding to get them to fit properly. My question for those of you who have done this is, where/what/how much do I grind off of my struts?
Here is a picture of the struts for reference...

Thanks in advance for any help guys. I really appreciate it

Sounds like you are headed for a headache. I suggest some new shocks built to receive sleeves.

Where have you heard that about GC's and AGX's? I don't see why there would be a problem, as the AGX's have an OE-style spring perch, just like Tokico Illuminas, and lots of people run GC's on Illuminas.

My personal preference is Koni-specific GC's on Koni Sport shocks, though, as you don't even use the OE-style Koni spring perch at all. The GC sleeve fits over and captures the circlip on the shock body completely, for a very clean fit and appearance.

...guess I assumed he was moving away from OE style springs.
