However, according to some news.....actuall measurements of the following trottle bodies has been 58mm.
b16a/b17a/b18a/b18b/b18c/h22a

So. If the H22 is 58mm I am going to say that I stand corrected and the B20 is 58mm.

 

OK cool...I'm just wondering if my EX intake will work on my B20...

 

ALSO wondering if the EX intake will 'hinder' the performance at all of the B20?

I'm using a GSR or B16 tranny...for a list of what u need ask 'b20guy'

 

Would a Type R AEM cold-air intake work better? Also, would it fit with a B20 swap in my EK?

I just measured my '99 B20Z throttle body and it's inside diameter is 62 mm!

Strange...

 

so why did you ask? JK!

the internal diameter needs to be that in hte middle, not at the fluted neck of hte TB...

Well my engine is still sitting in my garage and I took a ruler and placed it on the throttle body opening...I measured starting on the inside and it's diameter was 62 mm. I also measured the inside diameter of an intake for my d16z6, the part that connects to the throttle body, and it was 56 mm.

I asked before because ...uhh....I never had anything to measure it with! haha
