I'm lookin at getting a rsx type s what is the best cams for a i/h/e/throttle body set up...

IPS k2 MkIII. you definitely get what you pay for with these cams and if you ever decided to add a k24 bottom end and/or more compression, these will still be very very good.

if you search around, there is a dyno sheet somewhere of a somewhat simple built k20a motor with these cams, a decent bit of compression (like 12:1 or higher), good other parts, and big Kinslers making almost 300 hp. 1998cc motor. It is in a Saltflat racing CRX.

well, especially if you want to stay NA and you want to go aggressive enough to want to change your cams then you are going to also in addition to the intake (I expect you plan a cold air intake), header (race header or don't bother), exhaust (doesn't actually free up that much power), and throttle body (not really that big of an improvement, maybe look into having your stock TB bored out larger, that way you can still retain cruise control), and in addition to these mods I would suggest that you get Kpro, & an RBC intake manifold, it flows so much better than the PRB manifold that our cars come with.

As the others already mentioned, the best cams really are the IPS cams even though Rod Edo (the owner of IPS) is a tool and a scammer who never provides the product after you pay for them. The only reason he is still around is that he takes peoples money for a product and uses that money to produce a product for someone else that he already took the money from in the past. He robs peter to pay paul so to speak.

I would never buy a product of his new. Look into Drag Cartel, their cams have been making crazy power from what I am told. Also, look into the BC crower cams. none of these are as good as the IPS cams but you will actually get the product after you pay for it.


I honestly have to say, that after going through a couple of NA setups, that I really don't miss being NA, lol. I don't think I can ever own another vehicle that isn't boosted, lol
