i have a swapped dx hatchback..the motor is a d16z6..is there a lot of work that i have 2 do to swap a b16...ls vtec....gsr and make it work???

 

This is the most common motorswap on the planet. There's probably more Civics with B-Series swaps than there are 32 Fords with GM SBC swaps. My sister can and has done a B-Series Civic swap in under 3 hours. **** man, you could probably go to craigslist's Rants & Raves section, inquire about this swap, and still receive a valid response. I would go as far as saying that you could probably go to camaroz28.com and ask any of them if they know how to do this swap and I'm sure you'll get a few people in there who will know. If you wanted to make it really simple, there's a friggin sticky thread right there at the top of this very subforum that you're browsing that is dedicated to this exact swap.

With that being said, have you ever thought about using the search feature?

Because I'm feeling like less of an *** as I was in the previous paragraph, I'll help you out.

-Motors are direct bolt in with new mounts and rear tranny L bracket.
-Shift linkage is a direct swap over.
-B-Series axles are a direct swap over
-The exhaust is a direct bolt up if you've got the corresponding catback system that goes with the D16Z6 engine.
- Wiring harnesses are direct plug ins.
-ONE WIRE needs to be spliced in and that's the knock sensor.
