What do j00 guys think of this hood?
ehh I don't like it, unless its venting heat from like a turbo or something I don't find it that useful

Vented hoods make a big difference when it comes down to cooling.
An aftermarket thermostat and thermoswitch is more than enough for most people's needs.

What I want is for hot air to be moved out of the engine bay quicker, I am guessing that can help cool the engine and other stuff like the intake and header.
Yea, but too much cooling is not good, like no VTEC. I have read about people putting both on their cars and not having VTEC Kick in.

i'd prefer a mugen style vent, front of the hood, pulls hot air out from the back of the radiator and off the exhaust manifold. but not in a daily driver

I would call that hood rice...unless someone has extreme underhood temperatures, say with the use of a turbo. Other than that I think that it doesn't look good. I would highly recommend that you not purchase this hood.
If you want replace the hood with a CF piece I would do it with a solid CF hood, of which I can get for you at a very nice price.

Ever since I installed my SS header, I've noticed my underhood temps have risen alot. If I was in the market for a cf hood, I would get a vented one.
If your gonna spend the money, might as well get one that does more than just lose a few pounds.

it looks great - for me to poop on...
probably awesome with the optional DOHC V6 that came in with the 99 USDM R's - got room (and cooling vents) for both heads

The vents are located too far back.
They should be just at the front lip of the valve cover.
Plus the "bulge" that precedes each of them will (slightly) INCREASE pressure on top of the vents, thus decreasing the effectiveness of the evacuation.
