Hey guys, had some questions here on painting my EG.
First of all, the car is a 94 and has the original white paint on it. It's got the usual Honda cancer on the quarters. What is the best way to go about fixing the Honda cancer? I take it the car would need new quarters welded and blended in?
Now, I did some talking to a friend about painting all the jambs on the car. I told him that I would most likely take the doors and trunk off the car to paint them. Is there any good way to go about doing the jambs?
And lastly for now. I plan on stripping the engine bay to paint the front clip. My idea was to do the fender wells, firewall, and radiator support flat black, and then anything that you wouldn't see would be undercoated. What are your thoughts on this?

Well, I did some looking around on this stuff.
It seems like it's easier to replace the entire quarter rather than do the patch panels. This way, your welds are hidden instead of being on the face of the panel. Also, this gives you a chance to clean out and undercoat the inner quarter panel piece to keep the rust away. I think I will be going with this method to fix the rust in the quarters rather than trying to use a patch panel. What are your thoughts on this?
Now, about doing the jambs. It seems like the easiest way to do this is just to remove the doors and trunk and paint the car without them on. This way, they aren't in the way and can be painted evenly. What are your thoughts on doing the jambs?
Any ideas for doing the engine bay besides making sure everything is stripped out of it?
