Icon6 removing bumper paint?

My front and rear bumpers are in shitty shape, lots of scratches and in some spots the paint has begun to peel off, i want to get them painted but i wanted to remove the old paint so there wont be any problems when i re-spray them. WHATS THE BEST WAY TO COMPLETELY REMOVE THE OLD PAINT?

Try this :http://images.google.ca/images?hl=fr...-8&sa=N&tab=wi

Must wear some gloves and glasses when playing with this , you don't want any of this on your hands

i was thinking of using the aircraft remover, but is it safe to use on the bumpers? because i've only seen it used on metal parts.

in all reality you should not be using any kind of stripper on urethane bumpers whatsoever. i dont care if it says "safe for urethane" , its not. if i cant safely remove paint from a bumper without destroying the material, i tell the customer they need a new one. you can get an aftermarket bumper for really cheap, its better to do that then to spend so much time stripping that bumper, than having to clean it like crazy with a plastics clear, than reprep it for primer, than reprep for paint. By then you just wasted alot of time and unneeded labor. new bumpers always look better anyway.

just my opinion.
