You probably want some coilovers because they are adjustable and you can set them as low as you want. I had GC's on my crx for a while and they were niiice.
Just having strictly springs won't do the trick. I'm assuming price is a factor, go with a coilover/lowering spring package, and/or adjustable shocks such as - http://cgi.ebay.ca/88-91-HONDA-CRX-C...1%7C240%3A1318
Skunk2 adjustable coilover setup is what im currently using, it works great and the struts that i've matched up can take a beating, from my experience.. you can't go wrong with these - http://www.skunk2.com/mm5/merchant.m...de=517-05-0740

if you really wanna spend as little as possible, i would say just get some sleeve coilovers like GC or skunk2, then put them on your stock struts and have someone who can weld take your stock top hats and cut them and extend them about an inch and then you should be alright to lower the car a lot and not blow the struts since you will have the extended top hats.

If you are looking for REALLY cheap. Cut your springs. It's a terrible ride but you can slam the shizz out of your car. I wouldn't recommend it though.
there are springs out there that will lower your car 2.5in or even 3. that should be good to give you some tuck. mine tucks like that and thats what mine is dropped
if you want springs sprint makes some good ones that lower 3" or 3.5 or something. you could always get some crap ebay sleeve coilovers and flip the spring perches on your struts.

I'll get better pictures tomorrow, but this is K-sports at the HIGHEST. They go down another 7cm easy. I dropped them almost all the way one day (about 10mm left at the strut) and the front tires were mm's from from the frame rail.
You must have put your spring on wrong or something, I have the Nuespeed race springs (yellow) and they lower the front 2.25 inches, and the rear 2.0 inches. Also are you sure you got the Nuespeed springs, there are a set of yellow springs on there, that claim to be the Nuespeed springs but are junk.
Ground Controls + either Tokico Illuminas or Koni Yellows
Ajdustable ride height and shock dampening, lifetime warranty on both shocks, and the Ground Controls go low enough to tuck a little tire.
I'm almost down to the bottom in the back...there's at least an inch more up front. Keep in mind I'm running 185/60/14's

If I were short on cash but had to spend money on lowering my car. I would go with a set of H&R Race springs. they give a decent drop, (around 2.5 inches?) and they ride nice. Paired with a set of Koni yellows they make a good track set up as well.

tuckin 4 wheels could mean wheel fitment problems in the back. rarely do i see the rears tucked on crx's. and i definitely would recommend against just springs. u will need a coilover to be that low. good struts/shocks and a adjustable spring could work too
Yeah, I just wanted to make sure, I am a mechanic at a Honda dealership, and you wouldn't believe how many times kids come in asking about lowering springs they bought and they didn't lower it, usually due to them being installed backwards/upside down etc. I will dig up a pic for you tonite, or first thing in the morning, my rex is completely stripped at the moment, but I will find you one.
