Is the timing belt tensioner on the D15B7 engine spring loaded or nitro charged? I think my timing belt has slipped, and I'm trying to figure out if perhaps the spring has worn out before I tear it all apart.

I do not think the spring does anything once the tensioner is tightened down (a step that is part of the TB change and tension setting procedure). If for whatever reason the tension does not seem to be holding, you should start by re-setting the tension per http://media.honda.co.uk/car/owner/m...l/pdf/6-20.pdf . Then check the timing.

Is the TB overdue for a change? They do stretch and can lose tension.
