91 Accord LX Vibrates
Hi,
My accord vibrates at idle and it's pretty annoying.
I searched the forum and saw that I should clean my IACV.
I located it, unscrewed the bolts but can't get it out...the hoses are so old.
The screen of the IACV is definitely clogged.
I obviously need to fully remove the part to clean it out, correct?
Thanks!

Are you dealing with the normal 4 banger blurred vision vibrations, or is this the teeth rattling - parts falling off type?
You may be dealing with another issue.

I dont think is the "parts falling off type."
The steering wheel and dashboard vibrate.
Once I slightly hit the gas, the vibrations are gone. At idle, they start again.
The IAVC is clogged but, like I sad, I can't get the hoses out :/
Yeah, a mechanic did say I need motor mounts. Will take care of that ASAP.
But should I clean the IACV and adjust the FITV?

Is this an Automatic, or a Standard Transmission.??

It's standard.
Yeah, when the car idles it sometimes feels like it's going to die.
Some people cleaned the ICAV without unplugging the two hoses.
I guess they only cleaned the two holes.
Is that OK to do?
