Default b20 90 da swap help

will the intake cam being off one tooth make my b20 not start. it started and just kinda sputtered for 3 seconds and it makes a bubling out the exhaust type noise when its crainking. the green clip is the thermostat that i need to extend from back of block to thermostat housing? What are those other two prong clips for the back off the block off the b18a1 and there not on the b20? important? also my ecu wont flash any codes. Does it need to start and run for a minute before it will recognize a problem

Y do you ask by one tooth, is it off by one tooth. Yes ur timing needs to be exact or even if it does run ur motor will suffer. Yes ur motor need to start and run for the obd to reconize a problem. I dunno about the other stuff
