ok i have a 90 honda accord ex with the F22A4 and i just got done putting a new top end on the engine and when i start the car and let it idle it will start out running fine then it will start idling erratically. could any of ya'll tell me what could be the cause of the problem? i know its not the timing because i had a mechanic do the timing part of the job and he has the timing right on the money. i have been told it is the idle control valve but i wanna make sure before i start spending money.


if anybody can message me back and let me know what could be causing the engine to idle erratically i would appreciate it.

 

well do you have any vaccum leaks? check the coolant, low coolant can do weird things
