Carbing Front Lower Tie Bar inquiries
I was on http://www.ajracing.com and saw the Carbing Front Lower Tie Bar for the DC2, i was wondering what the quality is like on this bar compared others. I know that IS backed by a good name and therefore I assume it is pretty good. But how is it compared to the CUSCO lower tie bar?
TIA

I like Cusco bars better than Carbing bars... Carbing aluminum bars has welds that are very choppy compared to Mugen welds. Carbing only comes in the aluminum color and I prefer Cusco anodized look better. None-the-less, Carbing is a good sturdy bar, but my vote goes to Cusco bar for $50 (in Japan).
That's true... Shane (kengs) couldn't put Cusco bar on his '00 Si, 'cuz it sat way too low... espcially with his coil-overs.
Just busting your chops man.
thanks guys.
i have a friend who has a CUSCO bar on his '00 R and he had some rubbing issues with his JDM header( had to dremel the bar down). have you heard of any of these issues with the Carbing Bar

I recently heard about front lower tie bars having clearance issues with the JDM 4-1. Is there a bar out that doesn't have clearance problems? How about the Tanabe?

My clearance issues were with the JDM 4-1 ITR header; could get the Cusco bar to clear the bracket for the lower heat shield
