Well i have been thinking about upgrading my headlights and replacing my grill on my 02 LX sedan. So i wanted to put in a mesh style grill, but i am lost where to buy it for a decent price. After doing plenty of searching i have found a lot of info on these grills, but not what im looking for. I understand you have to use the sedan radiator cover (which i have) with the new mesh grill. Do you know if the ones on eBay have the mounting points for that? Where did you guys buy yours? I dont want to pay $180 for the actual RS grill from Japan. Thank you as always everyone.

I did search, very hard. I even PM'ed It wasn't me. I never found the information i needed as i stated above. Most of the info was about the sizes and fit. But thank you for the information that lead me no where. I already said that i searched for grills' and dont want to pay the astronomical fees that your website and others want for a "JDM" style. Thats why i asked if the eBay ones were any good. I undersatnd you get what you pay for, but has anyone had any luck with the eBay ones since their much cheaper. That is also why i asked if it has all the mount points for the radiator cover.

 

Buy the grill. If you don't like it, send it back. It's not like they are expensive, and a lot of people use them. Why is this such a difficult decision to make?

 

which grill, the cheap one or the expensive? But n/m, im just going to buy it from k2 motors. Im doing this since it looks good on kimbo's ride. So thanks guys. This thread can be closed.

I have one from ebay, i didnt mean to be nasty, im just saying as someone who posted a thread about buying an ebay grill and about installing an ebay grill there would be some topics, did you switch when you searched from content to include archived content as well, it all depends on what you like, its your car do whatever you want, look at my build if you want to see what a grill looks like from ebay, its about the same plastic that your front end is, the color is kinda meh, but you can get it painted... From what Ive seen the ones sold from "stores" are usually the same quality as ebay ones with the exception of a real jdm RS grill, or you could do a 04-05 conversion with front end and use the oem grill.... but like i said its your car do whatever the **** you want...

 

how can you mention altezza and then jdm? those 2 do not mix thats like jdm rice lol

 

Altezzas grills are made for the altezza, not for civics........ If you have altezza taillights no one is going to help you anymore...

Alright everyone i see the flame fest begining. No, i do not have altezzas on my car, and no i dont plan on getting any. I just used an incorrect term. Next time just inform me, not flame me trolls. Thank you for any credible info that was given in this thread.
