can everyone help me out ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am about to buy an ITR but when i look at everybody who is selling them it seems that once the car reach about 100k that they want to get rid of it my question is. Is there something about ITR engines that when they reach 100k they start braking down or something and this would be my daily driver do you think it's good to drive that car on the highway or interstate everyday would that hurt the engine

100K miles on a Honda is barely scratching the surface. These engines are built to last, you have nothing to worry about. Just check the car's history and keep up with maintenance
There's a fairly big service to be done around that time (95-105K) which includes the timing belt/water pump. I'd find out if that has been done. If it hasn't it's not a deal breaker but could be a point of negotiation for you.

There is some thing behind the 100k miles thing.
If the Type R, don't know about other cars. If the Type R goes over 100K you insurance gives you a lot less money for it in case of total loss or theft, and that's the mileage point where the devaluation starts.
Its really up to you, **** you'll be having a Type R. you will now belong to an exclusive club.
****, how many car models are serial numbered out there? The Type R is.
Its pritty much Insurance related.
Honda engines last for ever, 175K is nothing

The only thing in a Honda motor that ever goes are distributors, Timing belts and axles. Saying that the car is serviced and not beat to ****
