Default Front End Squeaks!

First post here.

I have an 2006 Civic LX coupe stock. 75,000 miles. The front end squeaks alot. I suspect some of the noise is where the coil springs make contact to their seat.

What can I do to quiet the front end. Not looking to do much more than lubricate something. What all can be lubricated up front?

Thanks

I don't any grease fittings anywhere. Nothing that was meant to be greased.

I'd like to know how one goes about lubricating a shock piston outside of the shock assembly itself.......

Even if you meant to say Shock Rod, still I would like to know how you lubed it and how did the lube kill the squeaking?

To the OP, I say just lube all your rubber suspension bushings since they squeak when they are dry, worn, or installed incorrectly.

You people are idiots.

Is the noise happening when you're going over bumps? Dpes it happen if you are parked and turn the wheel back and forth?

Seems all bump related. Nothing to do with turning.

How does one lubricate bushings?

Silicone Spray and spray each end of the bushing, if they are OEM which I assume.

Are you saying this does not make you an idiot? Have you ever even worked on your car? He drives a civic not a blazer.

I'm not being a douchebag cause all you are doing is wasting the op time. And for the guy who said lubricate the shock piston. It's a strut and that idea is just idiotic hence he is also an idiot.

To the original poster. Without hearing the noise in person I would suggest like mentioned before to lube the bushings. If problem still persists get someone to bounce the car up and down while you listen and try to pinpoint the noise.

Struts? Yes, 75K I can see struts having a warrant for replacement, but not springs. Quality springs will last a lifetime.

75,000 seems early to change shocks. Lubing the bushings didn't do it. I'm probably going to wait until spring and consider changing the shocks.

My 07 Civic Si has a sqweak on the right front tire when i pull into my drive way and go over speed bumps. only 10,000 miles on it. I didnt notice it doing it in the summer, could cold temp make the sqweak sound happen?
