Help!!! someone stole my Vin plate

My Ls was stole and i just got it back, but they ripped out my Vin#....isn't it illegal to drive a car without a vin??? where should i look to get a replacement vin?

The VIN should be stamped on the firewall. Talk to your state DMV about the missing plate.
