d15b8 top end on d15b7 bottom end?

d15b8 top end on d15b7 bottom end?
i found a d15b7 bottom end for a great price can i use the top end off of my d15b8 on the b7 bottom end?? i know the b8 is a 8 valve and the b7 is a 16 so im a little hesitant...please help
