Are there any B-series engines that are automatic?

 

engines are not automatic/manual. transmissions are though..

As other have stated LS Integras were available as automatics, Don't try swapping on into a civic, especially a '96 - '00 civic.

 

i have ran across a lsd b16 auto trans once on a importer's website (like: hmo, tigerjapanese, ect.)

 

in japan i looked it up and they can also come with automatic gsr.

 

u sure? i've never heard of agsr being automatic

 

As for B-series motor equipped Hondas/Acuras sold in the US, the only one available cars with automatic transmission came in the '90-'01 Integra LS/GS/RS models. In Japan, B16a - B18a/b - B16a - B18c (GSR) came with either automatic or manual transmission. Type R B16's and B18's only came with 5spd trannys.

 

ive seen an automatic ls integra coupe
with a vtec head (ls-vtec) ...so thats as
close as your gonna get to a automatic
b-series..

 

I've seen an automatic B16 in a Del Sol... came stock with it... at least that's what the guy that owned it said...

I just searched and found there are no USDM Auto B16 Del Sol's.. .only JDM.. so I guess that guy had it swapped in.. but he was telling me it was stock...

 

ive seen like 3 del sols with b16 and auto tranny. why would ppl swap in an auto tranny? i always thought they came stock like that...

 

I did too, but I searched and apparently japan only had the auto b16 del sols... untelling why they didn't just do a auto to manual swap....

 

because they cant drive.

 

lol. but ud be surprised how many ppl that think they can drive stick really cant...

 

learn stick, get a 5-speed tranny, make you life easyer and more fun. =D
