Replacing bushings
Hello all. I need to replace my front sway bar bushings in my 91 accord. Rather, I guess I should say my front sway bar bushings are currently non-exsistant, I suppose they rotted away. In any case, I need to put some new ones in there. I plan on doing this myself it at all posible. I beleive the specific bushings are call the end link bushings. They are not the bushings that hold the bar to the chassis, but rather the bushings that hold the end of the bar to the suspension.
So what I'm looking for, is any guidance or perhaps an explination of how to replace them and the tools involved.
Thanks

might want to head to pep boys and pick up either the childeons or haynes manual i think they show you there. and it will tell you what size the bolts and stuff are..
I did this 2 weeks ago. Its really really easy. The bushings were Energy Suspension univeral fit ones from PepBoys. Do everything schlit said plus grease the bushings. Took me 30 minutes.
Well, I did it. It really is quite easy. I was originally thinking the bushings where somehow pressed into the end of the swaybar itself. This I found to not be true, but as I didn't have any bushings to look at to see how it should look, I had no idea. The end links where not what I expected at all. For some reason I thought the end link was the end of the swaybar itself, when in fact they are just a simple bolt that everything threads onto and then ultimatly holds the swaybar end to the suspension. I'm a little disapointed the "kit" they sold at Autozone was $25, especially when you consider it's nothing but a long bolt, some rubber bits, a few washers and a nut. Oh well, the dealer wanted $90.
