Default Timing Belt??

I am in the process of building a b-series engine. Im almost at the point of buying a timing belt I just dont know which one. The engine is sleeved and fully built shooting for over 650+whp. I was thinking of a gates racing timing belt (the blue one), toda, or greddy. Give me some advice or opinions. Thanks.

I'd most likely say OEM too, just like headgasket.

For higher HP applications, for a bit more insurance, Gates is fine. I personally have Toda belts on my cars, but that's really to match the valvettain and gear set.

Well I guess I will save some money by going with oem. I was wanting something tougher and better for my range of hp.

Yes, some are, but the compound of the material is different b/w their OEM belts, and the high tensioned ones. Please don't get that confused.
