pics of AP1 wheels on 97 R?
after searching here, and searching my vast ITR picture folder i have found:

and i cant find any 97s or even a 98 with AP1 wheels on it. anyone help me out? my 97 is in need of some new shoes and i think these might be them.

but most every other set of AP1s on something other than a S2000 have been 4 fronts. its just easier. you dont need wheel spacers, and the tires are all the same size, wheels same with etc.
i will be running 4 fronts. just because i want to be running all the same size wheels/tires (probably Yokohama S.drive 205/45-16's). oh and i will be running wheel spacers to correct some of the offset difference (probably 10mm's front/rear).

MISCONCEPTION! everyone seems to say that, but i know someone that used a complete set of AP1 wheels on his EK. used spacers for the rear wheels to have a decent offset.

The S2000 wheels do not have the same width (or "with" LOL
); the fronts are 16x6.5 and the rears are 16x7.5.And those spacers better be the kind with a lip to replicate the lip on the stock hub, or you'll lose the hubcentricity of the wheels. And in addition to the spacers, you'll also need to install extended studs on your hubs.
Also, all those workarounds to address the difference in offset aren't the only problems you'll have. The wheels have a different center bore (that's the diameter of the big hole in the middle of the wheel); on one axle it's 64.1 mm (same as the ITR) but on the other axle it's 70.1 mm. That means that two of the wheels will no longer be hubcentric. You can try to find hubcentric rings to reduce the diameter of the center bore to match the ITR hub, or you can risk wheel vibrations as a result of the loss of hubcentricity (although some people seem to luck out without having vibrations, they're quite common with the bigger center bore, even if you do all the things right when mounting the wheels).
You'll have all the same issues trying to use a full set of S2000 wheels as you will NSX wheels. All in all, it's just a whole lot easier to get a set of four matching wheels, then trying to develop workarounds to get a set of those to fit.
cool, thanks for breaking that down. still dont see my info as wrong? i just didnt go into detail that you did. but i guess i did leave out that you will need the studs with spacers.
Funny how this gets brought up as the other day I was looking into this and thinking about doing this but powdercoat the wheels bronze to match the py itr. I don't know if i like how the wheels are really sunken in on the lowered black itr i like them when they are flush.

Aren't OEM ITR caps the same as S2K caps? I used to have a set of ITR wheels on my hatch. The caps from those and the caps from my stock S2000 wheels look the same.
Mistake?
