Default tranny help

ok so im trying to understand why tranny wont shift gears . it will work properly when the car is off , but if i turn on the car my clutch feels soft and wont allow me shift gears ?

is it my tranny oil? im going to flush tomorrow the tranny and use some gm fluid. oohh my bad its a rsx type s tranny

feels soft? does it grind at all? does the pedal feel soft, does it just sink to the floor board? your story is no help....

yes my pedal goes all the way down , and yes it will grind if i try to shift

how many miles? Could just be a clutch master cylinder? Mine just went out on my truck. Pedal just drops to the floor. Can you pump it at all and does it get any better?

that sounds like a blown clutch to me, but check ur fluids. and if it were ur master cylinder i think ud have problems with ur pedal also, refer to clubrsx.com, they know everything u need to know about ur rsx and problems u may have.. p.m K20a2 hes a moderator for clubrsx he can answer ANY questions about parts and problems.. good luck
