p28 ? Vtec?

Default p28 ? Vtec?

Hey everyone I need a bit of help I have soch vtec in my ef I just did the obd0 to obd 1 but i still dont have vtec ok everyone told me to run the 2 line from the ecu to the solenoid ? can some explain that ........ pic?? could be helpful... thanks in advance

P28 is non-vtec got to get a cheap ebay chip atleast to run it i have a modified p28 but the mods on it would blow that motor to pieces

WTF? The P28 came from the 92-95 Civic Si that was a vtec motor!

LOL. So your sayin a p28 isnt a vtec ECU. Wow amazing my swap ever ran LOL.
To OP, yes p28 ECU is a vtec ecu. Don't know where adams90crx is gettin his info.
Also dont use a ebay chip. They are not what they say they are. I think there was a thread on here how somebody got a bunch of them and read the maps and they were way f#$%ed up. Thought i would throw that out there.

make sure the vtec wire is hooked up near the distributor thats what was wrong with mine the v-tec cylanoid.. i really dont know where yours is i have a DOHC but that might be the reason its not working,..

If your oil is too low VTEC won't engage. Make sure your oil is full.

Did you splice into the right pins on the ECU wiring? You need the red ones in this picture:

Good info there.....also be sure to check out rywires entire website ..they have lots of faqs!
