hey guys im swapping a b18 into my 90 hatch and i have a question. do i need to put the rear t bracket from the integra on before i drop in the motor? becuase i dropped in the motor with the 2 sides mounts loosely bolted on and i cant seem to get the t bracket in there. thanks

 

On all of them that i have done i had the bracked allready on.

 

Use any 90-93 Integra rear t bracket and things will be good. I always have the braket on prior to dropping the engine in.

 

Everytime I do swap's i put the rear t brecket after, on ef's is a little harder because off the space but just keep on trying evently you get it.

 

yea its a pain in the dick to get on the rear bracket. i tried with the bracket installed in the chassis, droppin the engine into place. no go. then i tried bolting it to block and then dropping the engine in. didn't work either, just not enough clearance no matter how you swing the engine. i had to have the engine partially dropped into the car and then slide the bracket into place while lowering the engine down into place.

 

I have the rear bracket on when i drop my h2b and thats a lot bigger than a ls
