Icon2 dpfi mpfi quick question

i was wondering if i could use the manifold from the z6 onto my motor
doing the swap this weekend and would like to find out before i try to put it together and it doesn't work
the car is a 88 civic dx

Assuming you have the 88 DX stock motor, you will need to do the DPFI to MPFI conversion to get the intake manifold to work. You will then have to make a decision as to what ECU you plan to go with. You can stay OBD0 or go OBD1, but you can not stay with your stock DX ECU. (search)
Since you are looking to use the Z6 head you really should look into converting up to OBD1 so you can use the correct ECU for vtec. although, you can also stay OBD0 and do a hack job with RPM switches and junk to work the vtec.
