Just installed DC JDM 4-1 header, with Carsound cat and stock exhaust.
Have Toda camears with V-AFC.
My Intake appears to be advanced 9 degrees and exhaust retarded 4 degree's.
Do these settings sound safe? The tuner intended for -2/+4 but could not read the toda's correctly.

.....is there valve to piston contact? If not, then it's perfectly safe.

What cams are you using?

.....does it make power?

Where's your dyno plot?

For reference, my settings are +15, -5 with spec b's on stock usdm head, block, and headgasket.....

 

How the flock do you intend to do -2/+4 and end up with +9/-4? If your intake cam was advanced 9 degrees, you would probably know it. Your car would probably not run right.

 

It runs great... What should I look for?

 

+4 degree cam = 8 toda gear degrees
-2 degree cam = 4 toda gear degrees

Seems to me your tuner got it pretty close.
