Default Bleeder valve snapped in half..

The bleeder valve broke off as I was bleeding the brakes. It's hollow. Would it be a really, really, really dumb idea to just screw some screw in the hollow part that's left? The threads on my screw is grabbing in the broken, hollow bleeder valve (or what's left of it).

It would just be a temp. solution for being able to drive on a frozen lake tomorrow (11 pm here, everything is closed), but it's about 220 miles of driving back and forth...

you can find a generic replacement bleeder screw at most autoparts stores. I wouldn't feel comfortable with a broken bleeder.

You won't be able to bleed it if it's not hollow.

I had a hell of a time finding a replacement in any local parts stores the day I broke one. Ended up having to go a wrecking yard and pull a used one.
