This weekend the Central Carolina Region SCCA will put on a SOLO I and SOLO II at CMP (split the track into two different tracks...one side SOLO I and one side SOLO II). I believe it is $100 for the SOLO I (2-days) and $65 for the SOLO II (2-days).

I'll be going, but only as an official (note: I assist the NCR and CCR with the SOLO I series). Looks like it is going to be a nice weekend.

 

hey john, what do i have to do to be able to race in solo I stuff? also, let me know when you're gonna be running somewhere, i still wanna see you on the track w/ that beast of an ITR

 

Must have an SCCA approved 4pt roll bar or other required bar/cage if it is a highly built car, 4 pt or 5 pt harness, 2.5+ lb fire suppression (w/ metal to metal attachment..no plastic), SA95+ helmet, fire suit (w/ single layer, must have nomax underwear), gloves, shoes, nomax socks and arm restraints. If you have any facial hair, must wear a nomax mask (can't spell the correct term).

Yes, but you can obtain a Novice SOLO I license for the event.
