Default 92 Accord EXR Broken Timing Belt

I am looking into buying a 92 accord for cheap. The problem is the car does not run due to broken timing belt. It has the stock SOHC motor. I believe this is an interference engine? I am wondering what are the chances of putting on a new belt and have the car running. Just want to hear from anyones past experiences. Thanks

He (or she) better be asking almost nothing for this car cuz you could be looking at some outlay here.

I say "could" because there have been incidents where they dodged the bullet and a belt took care of it.... and then there are the others.

It's all a matter of the circumstances of when it broke.
Broke at idle / just starting - good chance
Broke at speed - not much

I'd be more confortable having the original owner offering a running example.
The way it is now, you might just be purchasing a lawn ornament.
